A NEW PARTNERSHIP IN COLUMBIA

Equipe is proud to announce that the University of South Carolina has joined its growing roster of college athletic department partners. The Gamecock Club, the fundraising and premium engagement arm of South Carolina Athletics, will use Equipe's Customer Data Platform to unify fan, donor, and customer data across its systems, turning fragmented information into a single source of truth the entire team can act on.

South Carolina joins a lineup of leading programs already using Equipe to modernize how they understand and engage their fans, including the University of Texas.

WHY A CDP, AND WHY NOW

College athletics has entered a new era. Revenue sharing, NIL, the transfer portal, and realignment have all raised the stakes on every fan relationship. Yet most athletic departments still operate with data scattered across ticketing platforms, donor CRMs, merchandise systems, marketing tools, and media partners — each holding a different version of the same fan.

The result is a daily operational tax. Campaigns take longer to build. Renewal conversations miss context. Fundraising teams and ticketing teams work from different numbers. And the strategic questions leadership wants to answer — who is our most valuable fan, who is at risk of lapsing, who should we invite to this event — require days of manual reconciliation instead of minutes.

A modern Customer Data Platform changes the equation. By connecting source systems, cleaning the data, and resolving every fan to a single "Golden Record," a CDP gives athletic departments the foundation they need to act quickly, personalize at scale, and measure what actually drives revenue.

WHAT THE GAMECOCK CLUB WILL UNLOCK

With Equipe in place, the Gamecock Club will be able to unify data from across its ecosystem, build precise audiences on demand, and deliver more relevant communications to donors and fans at every stage of the lifecycle. Instead of chasing data across systems, the team can focus on strategy, creative, and the relationships that drive the program forward.

In the words of Dan Stahl, Chief Revenue & Data Officer at The Gamecock Club:

"We chose Equipe because their platform makes it easier to bring our data together and act from a single source of truth. It gives our team the power to build precise audiences and understand our fans in unrivaled depth, ensuring every interaction we have is personal and high-utility."

That framing — single source of truth, precision, high-utility interactions — captures exactly what a CDP is built to deliver, and what the next generation of college athletic departments will be measured against.

BUILDING THE DATA FOUNDATION FOR MODERN COLLEGE ATHLETICS

South Carolina's decision reflects a broader shift. The programs investing in their data foundation today are the ones best positioned to grow revenue, deepen fan loyalty, and compete in the new economics of college sports. Equipe is proud to support that shift, and especially proud to partner with a program as ambitious as the Gamecocks.

Welcome to the team, South Carolina.
