Texas Athletics' ticketing team knew exactly which fans it wanted to reach, but assembling a targeted list took hours of manual work and often a request to someone else. The sales window shrank while the list got built, so a broad email blast was often the only thing that fit in the time available.
Postseason baseball looked sold out on paper, then buyers backed out days before the games. Reopening those seats wasn't practical without targeted outreach, and seats like that would previously have gone out as comps, bringing in nothing.
Texas turned to Equipe so reps could build their own audiences in minutes. An account executive filtered across ticket transfers, donations, purchase history, and location to build a list of 700 accounts in under five minutes, ran the campaign the same day, and sold $3,610 of postseason baseball tickets. The same rep ran a men's basketball push that brought in $6,985 in two days.
